The Patay DD120 Butyl Diaphragm Spares Kit – Comprises of 2 Diaphragms, 2 fixing screws and washers, 1 conrod, and 1 diaphragm plate.
Butyl diaphragms and valves are biocompatible and resist many acidic and alkaline chemicals. They resist attack by Phosphate Ester Hydraulic fluids and Ketones. They have excellent weather and sunlight-resistant properties. Butyl is also a good choice for gases because it has very low vapor and gas permeability and applications involving steam sterilization. Temperature range is -20° F to 250° F.
They do not rate well with mineral or petroleum-based fluids and hydrocarbons.
Please Note: Nitrile (Buna-N) diaphragms are fitted to our pumps as standard. Please consult our Chemical Compatibility Charts or contact us regards the selection of other diaphragm materials.
